Manchester United have reportedly been scouting Joao Felix this season with the view to potentially making a move for the in-demand Benfica teenager.

Felix, 19, has scored six times in 18 appearances for his Portuguese club during the 2018-19 campaign and is seen as one of the brightest young talents in European football.

Liverpool reportedly failed with a £61m bid for Felix last week, with the Reds admirers of the teenager alongside the likes of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Monaco.

However, according to Record, United are also very much in the hunt for Felix, with the Red Devils 'accumulating reports' on the attacker as they consider an approach.

Felix made his debut for Benfica B at the age of 16 and scored seven times for his club's reserve side before stepping into the first team for the 2018-19 campaign.

The versatile attacker is already a 10-time Portugal Under-21 international.
