Barcelona president Sandro Rosell reportedly wants Andres Iniesta's long-term future decided this week as contract negotiations continue to drag on.
The midfielder's current deal expires at the end of next season, with a number of European clubs, including Manchester United, believed to be monitoring proceedings.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Rosell will sit down with the Spanish international and his representatives this week with a view to agreeing terms before Barcelona's league clash with Getafe at the weekend.
The 29-year-old, who has been with the Catalan outfit since 1996, making close to 500 appearances in the process, is widely expected to sign a new deal until 2018.
