Roma have reportedly held talks with Manchester United over a possible loan move for forward Alexis Sanchez.
The 30-year-old only returned to training last week following his involvement in the Copa America with Chile over the summer.
Sanchez has failed to nail down a regular first team place since his arrival at Old Trafford in January 2018 and has scored just three Premier League goals for the Red Devils.
According to The Telegraph, Roma have been offered the opportunity to take the player on a season-long loan.
However, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer played down claims that the attacker may leave the club.
"I do expect him to stay, there's a striker there we think is going to be able to score some goals," the Norwegian told reporters.
The Italian market remains open until September 2 despite the window closing in England earlier this week.
