Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly decides that the club do not need to spend in the transfer market this month.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly decided not to push for any new incomings in what remains of the transfer window.

The Red Devils have yet to make a signing this month, although they are expected to see Marouane Fellaini depart Old Trafford for Chinese side Shandong Luneng today in a £10m deal.

Solskjaer's predecessor Jose Mourinho was adamant that he would need to spend in the winter market in order to challenge for the top four, but according to The Sun, the Norwegian has "insisted he could get the best out of what he [has]".

The club's hierarchy have apparently been "delighted to see what Solskjaer has been able to do with the squad at his disposal" following a run of eight straight wins and a draw since he took the reins just before Christmas.

United's reported targets in recent weeks have included Steven Bergwijn, Kalidou Koulibaly and Philippe Coutinho, although any new additions to the squad are now expected to wait until the summer.
