Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis has expressed his frustration at his side's defeat to Israel at Windsor Park on Tuesday night.
Despite controlling large periods of the game, the hosts slipped to a 2-0 defeat in Belfast which all but ends their hopes of qualifying for next summer's World Cup in Brazil.
The loss leaves manager Michael O'Neill without a win after nine matches in charge of the country, but Davis believes that Northern Ireland should have changed that against the Israelis.
"I think it's been the story of our group so far. If you don't take your chances at this level you get punished," Davis told Sky Sports News.
"If you analyse the game we had the majority of chances and possession. So we're massively disappointed again tonight, we can't keep letting this happen to us."
Northern Ireland are now eight points behind second-placed Israel, in a group where the top two have a chance of progression.
