Former Norwich City footballer Roy McCrohan has died at the age of 84 after a long battle with illness.
The versatile player made a total of 426 appearances for the Canaries in an 11-year span with the club from 1951 to 1962.
"Roy loved his time with Norwich and always spoke about the club and the people there, the players and of course the supporters, in the very fondest of terms," his wife Mary McCrohan told the club website.
"He came back for reunions when he could. Norwich City Football Club was just a massive part of his life."
Norwich said that they would pay tribute to McCrohan at a home game in the near future.
