Norwich City defender Russell Martin insists he remains '100% confident' that the club will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Norwich City defender Russell Martin has insisted he is fully confident that the club will avoid relegation this season.

The Canaries go into their match at home to Reading on Saturday four points clear of the drop zone in the Premier League table.

"For me, I've said it all along – we'll stay up," Martin told the club's official website. "I still believe that 100%, there's no doubt in my mind. A win will go a long way to achieving that.

"To stay in this league will be an unbelievable achievement. We'll go to enjoy it on Saturday. That's what it is about and hopefully we will give the fans something to shout about."

Three late goals saw Norwich lose 3-1 at Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend.
