Dougie Freedman elated with Nottingham Forest resilience

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman says that he was elated with his side's resolve to come from behind to earn a point against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman has revealed that he was delighted with his side's performance to battle back from behind to claim a point against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves took the lead in the first half through a strike from Ethan Ebanks-Landell and held the advantage until 10 minutes from time when Dexter Blackstock fired home to earn the visitors a share of the spoils at Molineux.

Freedman told BBC Sport: "I was very proud of this performance because it is something we have been developing, coming back from setbacks.

"We showed resilience when we had to because I thought Wolves gave it a right good go in the middle part of the game. The reason that we got a well-deserved point was because we started with a lot of confidence in the first 15 or 20 minutes, when I think they scored against the run of play.

"Then in the last 15 minutes we really showed that energy and aggressiveness which got us a fair result. So I come away from here very pleased with how we played."

Forest are 15th in the Championship following their draw with Kenny Jackett's men.
