Unai Emery has the full "support" of Paris-Saint Germain, according to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Unai Emery has been given a vote of confidence by Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

After PSG failed to progress beyond the last 16 of the Champions League, reports have suggested the Sevilla boss could be shown the exit door this summer.

Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte had been linked with taking over from the Spaniard, but Al-Khelaifi has moved to pour cold water on the speculation following Saturday's Coupe de la Ligue victory over Monaco.

"Unai is our coach," Al-Khelaifi is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying. "We support Unai. Each day, I see the names written behind Unai. However, it is he who is our coach and the whole club is behind him.

"I think [the Coupe de la Ligue final] was a good match, a good advert for French football. We were very good. We could have scored more, but we are very happy with the win.

"We are very proud of this new trophy. It is very important for the club, the fans, the players and the staff, of course.

"We still have two trophies to win this season, Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, and we will be able to focus on other objectives next season. But we want to win what we can still win this season."

PSG return to action on Friday with a Ligue 1 trip to Saint-Etienne.
