Report: Javier Pastore close to Paris Saint-Germain extension

A report has claimed that Javier Pastore is close to signing a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine's current deal with the Ligue 1 outfit is due to expire in the summer of 2016.

However, his agent Marcelo Simonian has recently arrived in the French capital, with talks now near to a successful conclusion, according to Get French Football News.

The 25-year-old arrived at the Parc des Princes from Serie A side Palermo in 2011.
