Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi heaps praise on Cristiano Ronaldo, amid speculation of a bid for the Juventus forward.

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has reiterated his long-standing admiration of Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Despite having just over two years remaining on his contract, Ronaldo has frequently been linked with a move away from Turin before hanging up his boots.

PSG have previously been credited with an interest in the 35-year-old, whom Al-Khelaifi has praised for his "extraordinary strength of character".

Speaking to France Football, Al-Khelaifa said: "Year after year, he shows a unique determination, an extraordinary strength of character.

"He remains motivated by this desire to improve every day and he always pushes his limits. I admire this relentless will; he is a great example for all athletes of the future."

Juventus have recently introduced a salary cap for new signings, a development which may lead them to reconsider their stance regarding Ronaldo in the future.
