Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that Coll Donaldson has joined the club from Livingston.
The defender had been linked with a move to the Championship side earlier this month after impressing manager Harry Redknapp during a trial spell with the Hoops in December.
"Coll's worked hard to move his way up through the youth ranks here, so it's always a sad occasion when one of our own moves on," Sky Sports News quotes Livingston manager John McGlynn as saying.
"But like [new Sheffield United signing Stefan] Scougall, Coll's earned his crack at English football, and we will never stand in the way of any ambitious young players.
"I'm in the market for signing a replacement and hope to have more news on that soon."
The 18-year-old has previously been called up by Scotland's Under-19 side.
