Keylor Navas has insisted that he has no problem remaining patient after helping Real Madrid to secure a 1-0 victory over Basel on Wednesday night.
The Costa Rican was handed a start by Carlo Ancelotti for the game in Switzerland, and performed impressively in the absence of Iker Casillas, but he admits that opportunities may continue to be rare.
"It's a tournament that everyone loves to play in so I'm happy that we won and that I was able to contribute a bit to the victory," Navas told reporters.
"I am calm, working hard. Little by little I'm getting more opportunities. Everyone wants to play some more but we must go step by step."
The win over Basel saw Madrid secure top spot in Group B.
