Cristiano Ronaldo has become Portugal's all-time leading scorer after netting twice in a 5-1 victory over Cameroon on Wednesday night.
The Real Madrid forward took his international goal tally to 49 to break the previous record set by Pauleta, who played 88 times for Portugal in his career.
"I don't worry about breaking records, it something that happens naturally, with lots of dedication," Ronaldo told RTP.
Raul Meireles, Fabio Coentrao and Edinho scored the other three goals in the win over Cameroon, who were level at the break thanks to Vincent Aboubakar's strike.
