Vinicius Junior has insisted that he is ready to be part of Real Madrid's first team amid suggestions that the teenager could be loaned out for the 2018-19 campaign.

Madrid agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian for £38m when he was just 16, but were unable to complete the transfer until the youngster turned 18.

The move has now been completed this summer, and the teenager has revealed that he will initially turn out for Real Madrid Castilla before looking to become a first-team player for Los Blancos.

"I have come to be a part of Madrid's first team," Vinicius told reporters. "I will play for the Castilla initially to adapt and then move as quickly as possible, I believe this move will help me become a much better player.

"There will be a lot of pressure here of course but there was also plenty of pressure at Flamengo, so I must be able to adapt quickly and the aim is to win as much as possible. I will need to learn a lot here and also make many sacrifices, but these values have been instilled in me from my family."

Vinicius, who has already trained with his new teammates, scored 14 times in 69 senior appearances for Flamengo.
