Keylor Navas has admitted that he is unsure whether he will leave Real Madrid this summer.
The Costa Rican made just six La Liga appearances in his debut season at the Bernabeu, and Real are believed to be considering a move for another goalkeeper.
David de Gea is reported to be the club's top target, while there is no guarantee that Iker Casillas will leave, which means that Navas could become third-choice under Rafael Benitez.
"I've spoken with the club," the 28-year-old told Marca. "Only God knows if I'll stay on at Real Madrid.
"I hope to remain in the squad and fight to fulfil my dream, which is to be the club's first-choice keeper.
"I'm not okay with what I've done until now at Real Madrid. Things didn't go as I wanted this season, but it's made me much stronger."
Navas signed a six-year deal with Real when he arrived from Levante last summer.
