Real Madrid reportedly remain intent on trying to part ways with Gareth Bale, despite claims from his agent that he plans to stay at the club throughout 2020.

Real Madrid reportedly remain keen to find a new club for Gareth Bale during the summer transfer window.

Despite frequent suggestions that the Wales international could leave the Bernabeu, agent Jonathan Barnett has indicated that the 30-year-old may remain at Los Blancos throughout 2020.

However, The Telegraph claims that Real are still looking to part ways with Bale as soon as possible in a bid to reduce their wage bill.

While the Spanish giants do not expect to sell the attacker in January, club officials are allegedly eager to agree a deal before the beginning of next season.

Bale, who still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, has contributed two goals and two assists from 14 outings in all competitions this campaign.
