Team News: Evangelos Ikonomou poised for second Ross County debut

Evangelos Ikonomou is poised to earn his second debut for Ross County after being named in Derek Adams's team to face St Johnstone today.

Evangelos Ikonomou is poised to earn his second Ross County debut after being named in the starting lineup for this afternoon's visit of St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

The Greek left-back enjoyed a six-month spell at Victoria Park in the second half of last season, before signing on for an additional stint earlier this week.

The 26-year-old goes straight into the first XI today for Derek Adams's men, with fellow new-boy Jordan Slew retaining his selection after impressing in the 2-1 win away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on New Year's Day.

Meanwhile, the Saints boss Tommy Wright names two changes to his lineup following the demoralising 4-0 defeat to Motherwell last time out, with Nigel Hasselbaink and Chris Millar coming in.

Ross County: Fraser; Gordon, Kettlewell, Oikonomou, Boyd, Brittain; Glen, Cooper, McLean, Carey; Slew

St Johnstone: Mannus; Mackay, Scobbie, Wright, Anderson; C. Millar, McDonald, Wotherspoon, Hasselbaink; May, Davidson
