Danny Rose: 'Tottenham Hotspur shouldn't fear Manchester City'

Danny Rose believes that Tottenham should not fear Manchester City when the teams face off in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Danny Rose has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur should not fear Manchester City when the sides meet in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Second-placed City travel to White Hart Lane in impressive form as they look to win their eighth consecutive game in the top flight.

However, Rose believes that Spurs are good enough to get a positive result against the title challengers.

"City are flying and will be right up there at the top of the table come the end of the season," he told the club's official website. "But we shouldn't fear anyone at the moment.

"We are playing with confidence, we have a striker in great form in [Emmanuel] Adebayor and we also have a number of players coming back from injury."

Tottenham were thrashed 6-0 by City in the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium two months ago.
