Clint Dempsey, Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor are among those poised to leave Tottenham this summer as the Lillywhites reportedly prepare a ruthless clear-out.

Scott Parker and Clint Dempsey are among eight players who could make summer exits from Tottenham Hotspur, who are reportedly planning a clear-out following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

The Mirror reports that Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas sees currently-injured Brazilian Sandro as his preferred partner to Moussa Dembele in central midfield, leaving the future of Parker, who is apparently a target of Queens Park Rangers, uncertain.

Dempsey only arrived at White Hart Lane from London rivals Fulham in the summer, but could be sold to make room for the younger and higher quality attackers on Tottenham's radar.

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor is another player whom Spurs will look to shift before next campaign, with French outfit AS Monaco supposedly interested.

David Bentley and Heurelho Gomes, who both finished the season on loan at other clubs, and William Gallas, whose contract expires in the summer, are another trio who will be offloaded.

Midfielder Tom Huddlestone is looking to leave the Lillywhites in search of more regular football, while left-back Danny Rose, despite impressing during his temporary spell at Sunderland, could also leave, if Villas-Boas can recruit a replacement.
