Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson has admitted that he and his teammates are still hurting from their opening-day defeat to Leicester City.
The Black Cats slumped to a 4-2 loss at the King Power Stadium last weekend.
Larsson has now urged the team to put things right at home to Norwich City on Saturday.
"You never get used to the feeling. You might think as players we've seen it all before but that honestly doesn't make defeats any easier to bear," he told The Journal.
"It is still as bad and the day it stops feeling that bad is the day you need to start thinking about doing something else. It is not nice but the reality is you have to go through it. You can't hide away. You have to confront it head on and move on."
Larsson scored three goals in 40 appearances for Sunderland last season.
