Huw Jenkins: 'All options open over Francesco Guidolin'

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says that "all options are open" when it comes to manager Francesco Guidolin's future.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has admitted that "all options are open" over the future of manager Francesco Guidolin.

The Italian took over at the Welsh club in January and helped steer them away from the relegation scrap to Premier League safety with five games of the season to spare.

Former manager Brendan Rodgers has been tipped for a return to the Liberty Stadium this summer but Guidolin has expressed a desire to stay in his position beyond May.

"Over the next couple of weeks we are going to sit down and discuss Francesco's thoughts," Jenkins told the Swansea Evening Post.

"We will discuss his views on the team and the club and on the situation going forward.

"All the options are there - that has not changed from day one. The possibilities are all there."

The Swans recently revealed that they were "close" to agreeing a £100m investment deal with an American investment group.
