Ostersunds chief Daniel Kindberg: 'No Swansea City approach for Graham Potter'

Ostersunds FK chairman Daniel Kindberg says that the Swedish club have not received any approach from Swansea City for manager Graham Potter.

Ostersunds FK chairman Daniel Kindberg has dismissed suggestions that manager Graham Potter is close to joining Swansea City.

Since Carlos Carvalhal left the Liberty Stadium last Friday, Potter has been linked with a move to Swansea and the Welsh club have allegedly identified the Englishman as their top target.

However, Kindberg has described the reports as "very strange", claiming that the relegated Premier League club have not made any formal contact.

Kindberg told fotbollskanalen: "No-one has contacted me about Graham, so it's just speculation. I have not talked to Huw Jenkins.

"We have had a relationship with Swansea for a long time, so it seems very strange. I see it just as speculation. It's probably the third, fourth or fifth time there's been speculation about it, so I sort it under speculation as usual."

Potter spent his playing career in England and allegedly wants to take on a new challenge back in his homeland in the future.
