Chris Coleman: 'I will not leave Wales post'

Wales manager Chris Coleman has ruled out leaving his post with the national side midway through their campaign to qualify for Euro 2016.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has ruled out leaving his post despite receiving interest from various clubs.

The former Fulham boss is on course to qualify for Euro 2016 with Wales, who are unbeaten in their qualifying group and level on points with Belgium at the top.

Coleman has admitted that clubs have asked for his services, but no contract offer has ever been made.

He told Sky Sports News HQ: "I've had one or two phone calls but nothing to make me say 'I'm off'. Nobody has offered me a contract but I've had 'would you be interested?'.

"I've been a manager for 13 years and there are so many managers – good managers - out of work and only so many jobs, so when you get offered something it's hard to say no.

"But I would never walk away from Wales, certainly not halfway through a campaign."

Wales are currently 21st in the FIFA rankings, their highest ever standing.
