West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Diafra Sakho has been ruled out of this weekend's Premier League match against Everton with a thigh injury.
The 25-year-old was absent from the Hammers' 2-0 defeat to Watford last weekend after suffering a tear in training.
Despite the blow, Bilic has claimed that he expects Sakho to return to action after next week's international break.
"Unfortunately it is a small tear, a rupture in his thigh," Bilic said in today's press conference. "The prognosis is he will be back for the game after in break. It is a set-back as he's a very important player to us.
"He dictates the rhythm of the game a lot with his pace, quality and determination and it's a blow for sure. But it's not a major set-back."
The Hammers are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
