West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart insists that his side are "a game away" from becoming a difficult team to beat this season.

West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart has insisted that his side are "a game away" from becoming a difficult team to beat this season.

England stopper Hart says that new Hammers boss David Moyes has re-invigorated the group, and that the Scot has brought back confidence to the London Stadium.

Moyes earned his first point as West Ham boss in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City last Friday.

"It's quite a simple job in [Moyes's] eyes, and our eyes," Hart told the Evening Standard. "Just sort us out, get us playing as a team. Get us playing with a strong formation and make us accountable for mistakes.

"It's good in my opinion, it's strong, it's organised and every training session needs to be at a maximum. Asking someone to train at 100% is not being tough. It's just asking someone to do their job.

"Against Leicester we had that little spark, we had that energy and Leicester were hanging on for the draw. I think we are a game away from feeling really confident and being a hard team to play against."

West Ham play Everton on Wednesday, before meeting London rivals Chelsea on Saturday.
