Robin van Persie enjoys food in Arsenal changing room

Arsene Wenger says that Robin van Persie had food in the Arsenal changing room following the draw with Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that former captain Robin van Persie enjoyed food with his old club in the changing room on Sunday following the draw with Manchester United.

The Dutchman earned the Premier League champions a 1-1 draw from the penalty spot after Theo Walcott had given the Gunners an early lead at the Emirates Stadium.

The 29-year-old, who had accidentally attempted to enter the home dressing room before the match, did join up with his former teammates at the end of the game.

"He's in our dressing room at the moment because the food is better in our dressing room than their dressing room!" Wenger told The Mirror.

Van Persie moved from Arenal to United for £24m last summer.
