Blackpool's Andrea Orlandi has revealed that goalkeeper Joe Lewis was forced to wear an autographed shirt for last week's Championship match against Reading.
The Seasiders had already been relegated to League One when they took on the Royals at Bloomfield Road last Tuesday.
In Orlandi's column for am14.net, the Spaniard revealed that the club ran out of shirts for the shot-stopper and he was forced to wear a signed top that he planned to give to a sponsor.
"When Joe tried to get another one he was told there were none left," wrote Orlandi. "It was funny because he tried to put a plaster over the writing to cover it, and it looked even more funny.
"However, things like that, details without apparent importance, make a difference in a club. A small thing? Probably, but still not normal for a Championship club."
Lewis managed to find another shirt for the second half of the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
