Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has claimed that the financial strength of the Chinese Super League will make it a "useful market" if the Red Devils decide to sell players this summer.
Woodward's words came during a conference call with the club's investors on Thursday after their financial results for the second quarter were revealed.
The rising strength of the Chinese market has seen the likes of Jackson Martinez, Ramires and Alex Teixeira make the move to Asia, and Woodward has decided to take a positive view on their financial power.
"Very difficult to predict the impact will have... useful market if we are looking to sell any players," said Woodward when questioned on China's rising influence in the sport.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said last week that the Premier League "should be worried" by the financial strength of the Chinese Super League.
