A host of current NFL players have taken to Twitter to back Missouri Tigers defensive end Michael Sam's decision to announce that he is gay.
Sam made the revelation during a television interview on Sunday, meaning that he will become the first openly gay player in NFL history if he is chosen in this year's Draft.
The announcement prompted a substantial reaction from numerous figures in the sport, the vast majority of whom have been supporting Sam's decision:
