Cristiano Ronaldo pays tribute to ill youngster with new haircut?

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly pays tribute to an ill youngster by incorporating the boy's surgery scars into his new haircut.

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly paid tribute to an ill boy by incorporating the youngster's surgery scars into his new haircut.

The Real Madrid star showed off a jagged line on the side of his head before Portugal's 2-2 draw with the USA at the World Cup on Sunday.

While the 29-year-old has not confirmed the reason behind his new hairdo, according to the Daily Mail, rumours have claimed that the Ballon d'Or winner mirrored Erik Ortiz Cruz's scars after Ronaldo paid for the youngster's £50,000 fee for brain surgery.

The boy, who lives in Spain, is said to have had the operation in February.
