Sunderland winger Adam Johnson reportedly met up with Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh for a night out at London hotspot Chinawhite over the weekend.

Johnson is said to have arranged the meet-up with the 37-year-old, who arrived at the nightclub with her older brother David and a female friend, on Twitter.

It is understood that Johnson spent £8,650 on 10 bottles of Dom Perignon Oenotheque when he arrived at the club, according to the Daily Star.

In the early hours, both left the venue, but Marsh appeared to be in an angry exchange with the footballer through the window of a car as he sat on the back seat with friends.

Marsh was recently granted a divorce from actor Jamie Lomas.
