Leicester Tigers trio sign new long-term contracts

Tom Youngs, Dan Cole and Marcos Ayerza all pen new long-term contracts with Leicester Tigers.

Leicester Tigers trio Tom Youngs, Dan Cole and Marcos Ayerza have all signed new long-term contracts with the club.

Youngs made his debut for the Tigers in 2006, while fellow England international Cole played his first senior game for the club the following year.

Ayerza joined Leicester in 2006 after a brief spell in his native Argentina.

"It is great news for us that Marcos, Tom and Dan have all agreed new contracts with the club," director of rugby Richard Cockerill told Leicester's official website.

"They are all genuine world-class players in key positions in the team and they are important parts of the senior core to the squad."

Leicester continue their Aviva Premiership campaign on Saturday when they travel to Northampton Saints.
