Daniel Wallace has said that Great Britain upped their game to secure the gold medal in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay at the World Swimming Championships in Russia.
Wallace, Robbie Renwick, Calum Jarvis and James Guy came in 0.4s ahead of the United States, while Australia completed the podium.
The 22-year-old told BBC Sport: "They've always been the best 4x200m team in the world but we really stepped our game up tonight.
"It always makes you confident to have the world champion anchoring your relay but I think we set [Guy] up pretty well and it was a great race."
The gold was Britain's fifth in the pool in Kazan.
