Poland's Adrian Zielinski wins gold in men's 85kg weightlifting.

Poland's Adrian Zielinski has won gold in the men's 85kg weightlifting by virtue of bodyweight.

Zielinski lifted 174kg in the snatch and 211kg in the clean and jerk, leaving him with a winning total of 385kg.

Apti Aukhadov of Russia claimed silver having also lifted 385kg but ranking below Zielinski on bodyweight.

Iran's Kianoush Rostami failed on a final all-or-nothing attempt to leapfrog Zielinski and settled for bronze.

The victory represents Poland's first gold at London 2012.
