Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has admitted that he was delighted to see wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald finally put up the numbers that his performances have deserved this season.
The 31-year-old caught his first touchdown pass of the season in his side's 30-20 victory over the Washington Redskins, and managed to haul in all six of his targets for 98 yards in the clash.
"I was extremely pleased," Arians told reporters. "I mean, you're always happy for anybody but with Larry, sometimes the numbers don't add up the way he plays.
"He's always been playing great games. We prepare him well and you're always happy for guys that make big plays, and he made big plays today."
The Cardinals are 4-1 in their season following their victory over the Redskins.
