Former Auburn Tigers defensive end Dee Ford was forced to miss the NFL scouting combine drills on Monday due to unspecified medical reasons.
The rest of the defensive linemen participated in a number of drills yesterday, including the 40-yard dash, the vertical jump and position-specific workouts.
However, Ford received a "medical exclusion" from the session, later revealing that he was experiencing pain in his lower back related to an operation he had back in 2011.
The 22-year-old recently claimed that he is a better player than former South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in this year's Draft.
Ford recorded 10.5 sacks during the 2013 season as the Tigers won the SEC championship before going on to lose to Florida State in the BCS title game.
