The Cincinnati Bengals have taken a 17-10 lead into half time of their game against the Carolina Panthers in the NFL this evening.
The Panthers had the first possession, and spent almost 10 minutes making their way down the field before Kelvin Benjamin held onto to short pass from Cam Newton for a Carolina touchdown.
The home side, who are without wide receivers AJ Green and Marvin Jones, were level at the start of the second half when Andy Dalton made a short pass to Brandon Tate.
The Bengals took the lead for the first time on their next drive when Dalton handed the ball off to Giovani Bernard, who dodged several tackles on his way to an 89-yard run for a touchdown.
Cincinnati were in field goal range late in the half, allowing Mike Nugent to come on and kick the ball through from 47 yards out, leaving the Bengals a touchdown ahead at half time.
