Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart could miss the rest of the season with a torn MCL, according to a report.
The injury occurred in the third quarter of the Panthers' defeat to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday as he took a hit while running out of bounds.
Stewart missed the start of the season with a foot injury and will now be likely to miss the rest of the campaign after damaging his MCL, reports ESPN.
The Panthers are 9-4 in their season following their week 14 defeat.
