Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has revealed that he is concerned about the ankle injury that kept him out of action against the Baltimore Ravens.
Cutler sustained the injury during his side's defeat to the Detroit Lions two weeks ago after initially returning from a groin strain.
As a result he was forced to miss the clash with the Ravens and was replaced by Josh McCown, who led the Bears to victory.
Cutler told ESPN: "There are a couple of ligaments that we're a little worried about that's different than the normal high ankle sprain. There are a few other things involved.
"If I just had a normal high ankle sprain, I wouldn't be in a cast. [A cast] helps it scar up and stuff, but the normal high ankle sprain isn't really a concern at this point."
The Bears are 6-4 in their season after week 11.
