Chicago Bears coach Marc Trestman has insisted that he hasn't considered the possibility of benching quarterback Jay Cutler.
Cutler has committed 15 turnovers consisting of 10 interceptions and five fumbles in nine games, which in turn has directly led to a total of 65 points by opponents.
"I think that we've all got to do better. I know it starts with the quarterback. It always does. But there's a lot of things that have got to [happen] before something like that would be a consideration," Trestman told reporters.
The Bears fell to a heavy defeat to divisional rivals the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, which saw them slip to 3-6 for the season and it leaves them bottom of the NFC North.
Cutler is 8-12 under Trestman and he has now thrown 22 interceptions in 12 games against the Packers with an overall record of 1-11.
