Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard missed a second straight practice this week and as a result is a major doubt to play against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.
Bernard sat out week nine with hip and shoulder injuries and the Bengals are expected to hold him out of the short week, with Jeremy Hill set to deputise in the backfield.
Hill had 24 carries for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last time out.
The Bengals are 5-2-1 for the season so far and lead the way in the AFC North, although coach Marvin Lewis could also be without Jermaine Gresham, Rey Maualuga, Leon Hall and Andre Smith, who all failed to practise on Tuesday.
