AJ Green unlikely to play against Carolina Panthers

Cincinnati Bengals star AJ Green is expected to miss Sunday's encounter against the Carolina Panthers with a foot injury.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver AJ Green is not expected to recover in time to face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Green has been suffering from a foot problem and was forced to limp off the field when he aggravated the injury during practice on Wednesday.

However, offensive coordinator Hue Jackson insists that he will not panic after a string of injuries and will continue to prepare the players at his disposal.

"We're not going to crash our game plan. As a coordinator you just have to adapt. You never know what might happen," Jackson said, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

In the absence of Green, the Bengals will likely turn to running backs Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill to give their offense a boost.
