Cincinnati Bengals place Clint Boling on injured reserve

The Cincinnati Bengals confirm that they have placed offensive guard Clint Boling on season-ending injured reserve.

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced that they have placed offensive lineman Clint Boling on their injured reserve list.

The 24-year-old sustained a torn ACL during his side's win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday during a collision while blocking for quarterback Andy Dalton.

Boling will now require surgery to amend the problem and as a result the Bengals have chosen to end his campaign by placing him on season-ending IR.

Marvin Lewis's side have signed lineman Dennis Rolland to replace Boling on the 53-man roster.
