Maualuga uncertain of Bengals future

Rey Maualuga has said that he does not know whether he will still be a member of the Cincinnati Bengals next season.

The AFC North side's coach Marvin Lewis has told the linebacker, who has spent four seasons with the team, that he needs to show more leadership.

The 25-year-old told the Cincinnati Enquirer: "I felt as if the [wildcard loss to the Houston Texans] was sort of like, if I perform well they would want me.

"I don't know if they want me, but I do know I didn't perform well. If I did well, good results will happen."

Maualuga started all 16 games for the Bengals in the 2012 regular season, making 122 tackles and recording one sack.
