Report: Sammy Watkins to enter 2014 Draft

Highly-rated Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins will reportedly declare himself available for the 2014 NFL Draft, passing up his senior season.

Clemson Tigers wide receiver Sammy Watkins has reportedly decided to forgo his senior year and enter the 2014 NFL Draft.

Watkins is rated by many as the best wide receiver available in this year's Draft, with Scouts Inc. projecting him as the fourth overall pick.

The 20-year-old was instrumental in his side winning the Orange Bowl this season, recording 16 catches for 227 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-35 victory over Ohio State in the final.

Those figures saw him become the Tigers' career receptions leader, while also setting an Orange Bowl record for yardage. Overall this season, Watkins recorded 101 catches for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Fellow receiver Martavis Bryant and defensive back Bashaud Breeland are also expected to declare for this year's Draft from Clemson's current crop of players.
