The Cleveland Browns have released pass rusher Quentin Groves and linebacker Larry Grant.
Groves originally signed a two-year deal with the Browns following impressive showings in 2012, but he failed to build on that after missing out on most of last season with an ankle injury.
It is thought that new Cleveland coach Mike Pettine feels he has enough talent in Jabaal Sheard, Barkevious Mingo and Paul Kruger to let Groves go.
Groves originally started out as a promising Draft pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
