Johnny Manziel: 'Teams will regret passing on me in Draft'

NFL Draft prospect Johnny Manziel thinks that any team who decides not to select him will live to regret their decision.

Former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has stated that any team which passes the opportunity to draft him will regret doing so.

Manziel is expected to be a top-10 selection when the 2014 Draft begins on Thursday, with teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cleveland Browns rumoured to be looking at options for quarterback.

He told reporters: "I believe they will [regret not choosing me], personally. I know in my heart how good I want to be and how committed I am to this game.

"I see there's room for me to improve, but to say I'm just a backyard-football quarterback, I don't think you do what I did in college and do some of those things.

"I don't think that's extremely fair. I hear it, but for me, I know it's all about my work ethic and my will to get better. That's very alive and inside me. I don't want to be what I was in college. Obviously, I want to be better."

Manziel won the Heisman Trophy in 2012, and broke a number of records during a glittering college career.
