Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has revealed that he will not require surgery on his fractured clavicle, but he could still face up to eight weeks out.
The 35-year-old sustained the injury in the third quarter of his side's 20-10 win over the Philadelphia Eagles when he was sacked by Jordan Hicks and Fletcher Cox.
Romo was forced from the field and an X-ray confirmed the break, but further tests on Monday revealed that he does not require surgery on the problem. However, he will still take up to eight weeks to fully recover from the injury.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. No surgery needed. We're just getting started cowboys nation. See you soon
