Dez Bryant will miss part of the off-season after undergoing surgery to correct his finger fracture.

The Dallas Cowboys have confirmed that Dez Bryant has undergone surgery to repair his fractured finger.

The Cowboys wide receiver sustained the injury in December, but delayed the operation in order to continue playing for the remainder of the regular NFL season.

The 24-year-old is expected to miss some of Dallas's off-season conditioning program, and should be able to resume training in late July.

Bryant scored 12 touchdowns for the Cowboys in the 2012 season, including three after fracturing his finger.
